Introducing Frankencoin: An Oracle-Free Collateralized Swiss Franc Stablecoin Project

We are excited to announce the public beta launch of Frankencoin, an oracle-free, collateralized Swiss Franc stablecoin.

Our mission is to create a stablecoin that addresses the current issues faced by existing stablecoins. These issues include trusting centralized third parties, dependence on centralized oracles, and limitations in the types of collateral available to mint the stablecoin.

Frankencoin aims to tackle these issues by offering a decentralized, oracle-free, collateralized and open-source stablecoin that tracks the value of the Swiss franc.

Who is behind Frankencoin?

The Frankencoin Whitepaper was developed by Luzius Meisser and Basile Maire in May 23 in the form of a dissertation at the University of Zurich. Now it's time to make it a reality!

Currently, the Frankencoin project is in its "hello world" stage, and we are actively seeking contributors, as well as input, ideas, and suggestions from community members. Your insights will be invaluable as we develop and refine the project, ensuring that we create a stablecoin that truly meets the needs of the crypto community.

We would like to highlight that we are currently still conducting our second audit and expect it to be finished within the next 1-2 months. This is a crucial step in ensuring the security and reliability of Frankencoin. We will keep you informed every step of the way.
